beautiful vegetables

i rarely get a chance to take photos of the gardens in all their splendour and when i do i never feel that i can capture the beauty of the vegetables growing. this week was especially wonderful: every day there were monarchs flying around us and today, while on our lunch break, we were blessed (it really is a blessing) by a humming bird!

here are just a few pictures from the eardley garden. i’ll take some more soon of the other two.

yellow zucchini being pollinated

various kale along the garden path

beets in the foreground, broccoli under cover, bunching onions in a row

more kale: laccinato, red russian and redbor
